Loneliness
Rev. Dr. Don Johnson, a member of
the Makah Indian Tribe, has been the Executive Director of Lutheran
Association of Missionaries and Pilots U.S. since 1994. Prior to serving
with the ministry he was Pastor of Makah Lutheran Church in Neah Bay,
Washington. During that time Pastor Johnson also served on the Makah
Tribal Council, including five years as the Chairman. He received his
Doctorate in Ministry in 2004 from Luther/Northwestern Seminary in St.
Paul, Minnesota.
One of only two ordained Native Americans
actively serving in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Reverend Johnson
resides in Minnesota with his wife, Mary. |
