 The Reverend Elizabeth G. Maxwell
is Associate Rector of the Church of the Holy Apostles and Program
Director of the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, the largest emergency
feeding program in New York City. She is co-editor of Food for the Soul,
a collection of writings by soup kitchen guests, and is fascinated by
the relationship of creativity, soul work, and social change. She is
also a spiritual director and retreat leader.
