 As bishop of the Pacifica Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America,
Rev. Murray D. Finck is the leader of 127
congregations and over 60,000 baptized members in Southern California
and Hawaii. In addition to serving pastorates in Garden Grove, Fresno
and Los Baños, and a church developer in Tollhouse California, he was
also a church builder in Togo, West Africa.
Bishop Finck is a graduate of Concordia Seminary-Seminex in St. Louis,
Missouri. He has been conducting parish-building workshops, seminars,
and retreats for more than two decades. In 2005 he authored
Stretch
and Pray, A Daily Discipline for Physical and Spiritual Wellness
(Augsburg Books) – A DVD edition was released in 2006. |
